Facebook and Instagram
For Pages and Instagram accounts connected to Captain Social.
Remove our access yourself
- On Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Open Business integrations.
- Find Captain Social and choose Remove.
That ends our access straight away. We can no longer publish to, or read from, that Page or the Instagram account linked to it.
Have us delete what we hold
Email privacy@captainobvious.fun from the address on your account and tell us the Page or Instagram account. Within 30 days we delete the access tokens and connection records we hold for it, and the posts, captions and images we stored to publish for you, and we email you when it is done.
Posts already published stay on your Page or Instagram account. You can delete them there at any time.
Everything else we hold
To have us delete any other information about you or your business, email privacy@captainobvious.fun. We reply within 30 days, and most requests within one business day.
Some records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, are kept only for as long as the law requires and are not used for anything else. Your full rights are in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
